    130s in November! Wow:)

I have several lump sums that I can throw at the mortgage in the next few months QBW (2 x fixed term saving bonds and the interest rate on my regular saver account reverts to peanuts at the end of October so that money can be MOPd too) then it's back to the regular monthly MOPs only - it'll take a lot longer to get to the £120,000s :(
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)

Me too. Cue wailing and gnashing of teeth :rotfl:. Though I think FD have a 6% one?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • Mr MWC's regular saver is with FD. Mine's with Nationwide so I'm hoping that they launch a new savings account... unlikely though while they're paying 5% on my current account...

  • We celebrated the start of the new footie season with sausage, fried onion & brown sauce sandwiches for lunch :D

Fairly lazy day although every so often I head to the bottom of the garden and hack at a tree. I'm making a log pile/wildlife habitat at the bottom of the garden with the branches, dried leaves, an old terracotta pot and pine cones that I collected from the car park at work

Eggs IN 7 - including the first "proper" egg from Miss MWC since her illness :T (she'd laid and squished a couple of softies in the week)
Eggs OUT 1 - Miss MWC's went in the bin as advised by the vet
