Change of plan already *rolls eyes*
Mr MWC now wants to visit the audiovisual department in JL... I'll have to tag along for damage limitation purposes :rotfl:Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Another £500 OP'd :T
Was tempted to pay more but I've got this niggling feeling that I've forgotten about something... probably not so I'll have a MOP to look forward to later in the monthMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Inspired by ATT's post about gas/electricity costs and a letter from Atlantic telling us our tarriff wouldn't be available next year, I thought I would have a look at our gas usage:
6 months from 22 Nov to 28 May:
Used = 1110 units (12,265 kWh)
Total cost (incl. VAT + standing charge) = £573.09
Average monthly cost = £95.52 :eek::eek::eek:
2 (and a bit) months from 29 May to today:
Used = 58 units (641 kWh)
Total cost (incl. VAT + standing charge) = £45.62
Average monthly cost = approx. £22.81 :T
Here's hoping that I don't have to put the heating on until at least NovemberMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

I
Mr MWC. After months of me going on about MSE I think he's finally "got" it... he cancelled the trip to JL to look at new blu-ray players (and probably a new surround sound system), changed all the films on our lovefilm rental list from blu-ray to DVD (as it's only the blu-ray bit that doesn't work) and even downgraded our package by 2 levels :T:T:T

We went to see The World's End - we enjoyed it and it was fun "location-spotting" as it was filmed near here
Crisps for breakfast :eek:
I really want to see World's End, for the first time in ages I watched 'live' TV and Hot Fuzz was on. I love Simon Pegg:T
Only kidding about the crisps:rotfl: I had a banana:AFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

I am aiming to go until 1st October without turning on heating (it's easy to say that just now as it's lovely and warm:p)muddywhitechicken wrote: »IMr MWC. I'm feeling sorry for myself today
I was bitten on the ankle yesterday evening by what I think was a blandford fly - it is now sore, red, hot and swollen
I'm a bit worried that it might develop into cellulitis based on a previous experience...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Ouch! That sounds painful. I hope some antiseptic cream will help it settle down. When I got bitten abroad by mossies, I used to have huge lumps come up. I used antihistamines to reduce the swelling. Not sure if that would help you?

Thanks Tiny
It's still sore and itchy (despite taking an antihistamine) but the redness and swelling are no worse thankfully.Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
