Not enough connections on my router

I have a cheap router supplied by TalkTalk which seems to work perfectly fine but I can only connect two ethernet cables to it and I need three connections, so what do I do. Is this the sort of thing I need

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Netgear-Prosafe-Ethernet-Unmanaged-Switch/dp/B00009015U/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1350064875&sr=8-11

or should I get a different router. I am clueless about this kind of stuff so any replies in layman's terms if possible thanks.
It's someone else's fault.
