Advice please re DVD drive

Do you have the original cases for the games discs? Should tell you on there the minimum specs and operating system required to play them.

Most of the games state operating system of Windows 95/98 and one of them is 2000 - so why won't they work with XP?

Another problem that has cropped up is with the Microsoft Sidewinder Steering Wheel - machine says the drivers on the disk are not compatible with the OS, but the steering wheel is probably getting on for 15 years old at least.

The computer's RAM, hard drive etc should be more than capable of running these old games efficiently, so can't understand what is going on:mad:

xp isn't the same as 98 or 2000, just because it's newer, doesn't mean all older games and hardware will work.

Will have to look for a few newer games:)

So the steering wheel is probably defunct then. That's a shame, he didn't even use it very much. Do you know if you can buy them specifically to work on XP?
