Charged for receiving a call from abroad?
Can you settle an argument please?
Do any of the major networks charge to receive a call from abroad?
Eg. I am in England and someone in France calls me on my UK mobile from their French mobile. Am I right in thinking I would not be charged for this call?

depends where you are taking your call .
1. if you are with uk provider and in uk then incoming calls are free. {generally unless you have taken a contract which charges you for incoming calls also}
2. If on roaming (i.e. outside your service providers coverage area} then you will be charged for receiving calls as well {again if you have a special tariff which does not charge then its different matter}
3. REVERSE charging can also occur.0
