It shouldn't be Java that needs updating. No applets are used; it looks like a JavaScript coding error which IE is susceptible to but not Firefox. Also, I have the latest Java RTE, and run several Java applets and programs successfully.
My version of XP has no updates, but then, it didn't 2 - 3 weeks ago either, and everything was working fine then. It definitely points to a website coding change within the last couple of weeks.
Don't have problem on 2nd PC with all updates, using IE6.
Don't have problem on 3rd PC with all updates using IE7.

I thought the java had sorted it but it's returned again. Hope it's sorted soon it looks like I'm being very ungrateful out on the boardsBlackadder: Baldrick, I have a very, very, very cunning plan.
Baldrick: Is it as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?
Blackadder: Yes it is.
Baldrick: Hmm... that's cunning.0 -
