Yes, you have to give 30 days notice as per T&C's (assuming that you are not still in minimum term). Get your MAC and proceed to sign up with PN (don't forget the cashback).
Plusnet is not an LLU service, so there should be no issue with migrating from an existing LLU service.
Sky LLU is generally considered one of the better providers, so why the move though? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
As above why would you want to move to a potentially worse service? That gum you like is coming back in style.0

its was cost as i no longer watch sky and sports wasted on me, as it turned out sky pricematched them so although i have a new contact im saving £6 per month0
-
Are you comparing like to like? Sky is unlmited, Plusnet is not (only 10Gb on the value tariff). No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Plusnet's value tariff does still allow unlimited access between midnight and 8am. If you stay with them for a year they will offer you unlimited. Customer service is excellent.
I have just gone the other way, Plusnet to Sky, and wished I hadnt.0 -
I'm toying with the idea of going to sky, but after finding so much bad information on the sky website, including blatant false advertising over prices that I'm second guessing the decision.
Calling up plus net I was told I could go onto a 120GB package, but sky unlimited with calls is still much cheaper. Gunna phone up on monday to see if they can do anything to make theirs cheaper and thus not move.0 -
