The Times will give away an iPhone 5 every hour today (Saturday 13 October) from 9am to 9pm.

One winner is drawn from the entries received in each hour, so you need to enter every hour to be in all 12 draws.

The terms and conditions have been updated since the start of the competition and are now showing that there is a cash alternative to the iPhone.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: You must be 18 years old or over. Winners will be selected at random from all entries received for each hour. If there are no entries in an hour, the winner will be selected from all entries received in the previous hour. There will be one winner per hour and 12 winners for the competition. The competition starts at 9am on October 13, 2012 and closes at 20.59 on October 13, 2012. Each hour will run from XX.00 to XX.59 (for instance, the first hour is 9.00 to 9.59). Entry open to residents of UK only. Each winner will win a Black iPhone 5. Cash alternative to the value of £530. Draw will take place on Monday, October 15, 2012 and winners will be notified within seven days. Best endeavours will be made to deliver prizes before November 19, 2012, but this cannot be guaranteed. Promoter is Times Newspapers Limited. By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names and county for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by TNL or any associated or subsidiary company of NI Group Limited.

Update: There will also be a Sunday Times hourly competition tomorrow (Sunday 14 October) to win a new iPad.

The DS one was every half hour as they had 24 prizes
