I don't regard this as 'being hit'! I'm only thankful that I don't qualify for any of these means-tested benefits - many do, and life can't be easy. It would never have occurred to me to look for cheaper stamps.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

But isn't looking for cheaper anything the whole purpose of this site being a "moneysaving" site? The only thing that is constant is change.0 -

It would not have occurred to me that stamps could be bought for any less price than the one decided on by Royal Mail.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

I suspect that traditionally this was the case.
However Superdrug often have them cheaper at Christmas, and I can bulk buy them all year round at a reduced price in CostCo. I think Makro offer similar reductions.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
