Depends on what you want. Is it for Ipod or other MP3 player, are you into albums or individual tracks, would you want to download loads of tracks or just the ones you want."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Which MP3 player is it, most online shops only sell tracks in WMA format and so obviously it would be best if your player was compatible with that. If you are into getting albums then it's cheapest to buy the CDs and rip them to your pc. If you are into getting lots of music then maybe a subscription service is better, something like Napster offers a lot of different music but you lose all the music if you cancel your subscription. Wippit also do a subscription service but is much more limited to which tracks you can download for free with the subscription but you get to keep all the music if you cancel. For individual tracks you are buying I don't think there's much to choose between the like of Tesco, HMV etc but they're in WMA format."She is quite the oddball. I agree, the removal of DRM means easier conversion but you start getting lossier and lossier files with conversions. But it's certainly a step in the right direction but for me personally I've got a Rio player not an Ipod and Itunes is too buggy to work properly on my PC. I still think overall you're better off buying the CDs (not singles obviously and so long as they don't contain rootkits).
