Daughter has just spilled tea on her laptop.
Currently holding it upside down and trying to wipe the liquid away.
It's still on at the moment.
Any tips?

keep it upside down to make sure nothing stays in the keyboard. If possible remove the keyboard or just the keys and wash them and let the laptop dry out.Things that are free in life are great, well most of the time :beer:0

The household insurance should cover providing it doesnt have a specific exclusion, which some of them do now! Hope you manage to get it sortedWins: Feb - Sam and Amanda DVD, Nanny Series, £50 Mother Day Goodies box0

If it had sugar in, I'd take it to pieces, and mop up any spillage with a damp cloth, before it dries, otherwise the keyboard may end up very sticky.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
