Seller isn't in Hull is he? Same happened to me...and when I returned it, it apparently 'got lost'...so I lost out big time!

you should be able to claim some money back from Royal Mail, give them a call, i think Recorded Parcels are insured up to £50.

You'll have an annoying form to fill out but you could result in getting some money back, even if it isn't from an original source
  • yes i did mean aren't victims :rotfl:

Actually all stanmdard mail is covered up to £46, assuming item is allowable.

Paying by bank transfer is a big no. You return the item they have the item and your money.

Hard to get your money back.
Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...

  • I haven't posted the item back and I am not doing until I get my refund have spoken to Trading standards they have decided to pursue it now onto my next step, hopefully I will get a result

I wouldn't hold your breath with trading standards, unless this seller is selling 100s...

Do you actually have the sellers home/business address? You will need to communicate with them in WRITING!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • Yes the seller sent me an invoice with this information on sent recorded delivery they've already told me I can go to small claims court
