Hi - my first time here. I was going to join in last week but had visitors for Easter weekend and knew I would have to go out for extras like bread and milk. However, will aim for £10.00 this week. Only needed to buy the Daily Mail today for .45p but DH has just gone out so I asked him to get it for me - does that count or is it still spending?KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Thanks LJ - I have opened the daily spending thread and am delighted with the response. No one's going to let our Moozie fade off the boards - her threads are too important.
Anyway - I'm going to stick with my £15.00 target. Managed to keep inside last week, but this week may be a bit more difficult, as I start a job next Monday and could have some unexpected spends, but I'll try.
I'm sure for a new job (and presumably higher income) you can be allowed a small spend! but make sure and be dfw about it, i'll be keeping my eye on you!0 -
I'd join in BUT I completely forgot last time I did post on this AND I'm going to get some new bookcases and a waudrobe on Thursday which will make my spending sky high and well...I don't want to talk about it even though it has been saved up and accounted for!
some people find it helps to write the total in their spending diary and minus any spends from it to keep a running total, maybe this will help you too???
as for the furniture spends, i'm sure you'll make it a dfw purchase0
