    it halfs the monthly bill..!!!!!!!!!!!!

LAPAT ... can you elaborate ... how does it halve the bill??... are you saying there is an option where you can just do without all movies ... at half the full price

yes it takes of £18 a month if you dont have the movies

have a look at sky's website at https://www.sky.co.uk and do a price check on what channels you want to pick

  • lapat.. can't see that . ?

got to the "sky packages" page .. and looks to me that to have everything except movies is £34 to £37. ?

You can see it in the compare section - £21.00 for the six mixes without movies or sport

I can see the pros and cons of the new system - I like having more 12, 15, 18 movies available from 4pm but it's lost a channel and I think it's a rip-off

  • gemmzie .... i think that's the point i was querying ... you're saying £21 without movies AND SPORT .... i don't want to lose sports ... just movies .

I haven't bothered watching it yet (but have a few more days if I change my mind  ) because everyone says it's rubbish.

Sky won't let me cancel the films cos it's in mr tru's name, not mine. Every day I say to him 'don't forget to cancel the films' and every day he says 'oh yeah, ok'
