How would you word feedback?

Hey

i posted before about not recieving an item i bought and paid for on the 27th october. i paid on the 28th and it was getting sent 2nd class.

seller told me to wait until monday and if it hadnt been recieved then, she would sort it out.

i emailed her monday to say the item still hadnt arrived (11 days after paying) so she said she would send another.

recieved it first class today.

how would you word the feedback?

i know shes sorted it, but 13 days later and the orginal one (if sent at all) still hasnt shown, i want to warn other buyers but at least say she fixed it?

What you want to warn buyers that Royal Mail sometimes lose post? Or that the seller will send a replacement out quickly?

Again, do you mean 27th September ;)

Are you leaving positive, neutral or negative? In all fairness, the lost item was due to Royal Mail - not the seller. The seller took responsibility and send you a replacement which you have received very quickly. Alot of sellers will send out a replacement towards the end of the 2nd week.

I purchased an item on the same date, dispatched 2nd class on 28th. The item is supposed be UK stock but is in fact sent from Taiwan. I have still not received my item, the seller won't send a replacement or refund voluntarily, instead they want me to wait another week so I have opened a case via Paypal - now that is what you call an unreasonable and dishonest seller.

I would leave positive but mention item was lost and seller sent replacement. She did what any buyer would want a seller to do

What makes you think she is lying?

I think she handled the situation quite well.
She has done everything that can be expected of a seller.

As others have said, this is excellent customer service. Prompt comms and a very quick replacement.

Turn it around. You send out an item and the buyer says they didn't get it. Do you think they are a scammer. Do you respond to their message, do you send out another item?

Shame on you for wanting to warn anyone. You should be on all good sellers blocked lists.

What else did you expect the seller to do?

Completely agree with everyone else - seller has done exactly what a good seller should do and deserves positive feedback.

I'm still waiting for an Amazon item that was dispatched the same day as your item - however unlike your seller who sent a replacement three days ago, they're making me wait till tomorrow until they will even consider it lost!

The postal service is sometimes a complete lottery and it is no more the seller's fault than it is your fault, although it is their responsibility.

Consider leaving no feedback at all if you are disappointed. I agree with all of the above - INR is a disappointment, yes, but unless your seller has been obstructive or aggressive it's not their fault - but last time it happened to me I was dismally aware that some sellers hold INRs against the buyer and didn't want to leave a positive saying 'Item never arrived but seller refunded promptly'. That would not only make me look as if I sometimes try it on (rolls eyes) but it would also mark the seller out as doing the right thing if scammers are looking in. Better not to refer to it at all IMO.

  • I agree with others here who suggest that you should leave absolutely positive feedback. It wasn't the seller's fault; it was Royal Mail's. The seller handled it in a responsible way and re-sent it quickly and efficiently.

You should read my post about what a dodgy seller really is like: item never showed up, he claimed he would re-send it, item never showed up second time round. Then seller stopped all correspondence and I could not do anything because the 45 day limit was gone. So, that seller was delaying on purpose. Your seller sorted everything out very quickly.

I'd put positive and say 'Item lost in post. Replacement sent out quickly' or something to that effect. If most of their feedback says items were lost in post then that could seen negative to other buyers, but it shows they can send out replacements quickly if it was Royal Mail's fault and not them forgetting to send it originally.
