Help! Superglue incident!

  • i managed to glue my finger to the palm of my hand with nail glue once. not funny when your not dressed , have you ever tried to put a bra on with one hand.
    sugar and cooking oil did the trick as advised by the nurse laughing her head off on the phone at the hospital where i worked at the time.

    My friend managed to superglue a shoe to her hand when she was MSE'ing her old tatty shoes. It's was blooming marvelous (hilarious! :D)

  • My Dad regularly used to superglue items to himself, so he bought some superglue de-bonder. Unfortunately the next time he managed to superglue his hand to the axle of a car and the de-bonder was on the shelf just out of reach. He had to wait for my Mom to arrive back from her shopping trip to release him :rotfl:

    Thanks for all the advice people.

    Veg oil worked for getting the patch off my leg, I just have a little rough bit now, and dog now has a lovely new tug toy that looks suspiciously like my old trousers!

    Glad to hear I am not the only one that does things like this too ;)
