The country skint YET we have a govt prepered to carry on misspending £5Bn over the lifetime of this parliament on a Work Program that is clearly not fit for purpose! Run by a motley mixture of companies under investigation for fraud and incapable of meeting even low govt targets! Makes perfect sense, what?

I was asked to comment and then make further comment which I did. Do I agree with it all? Well, thats a private matter for me. I stand by what I said regarding JSA & sanctions though.

is the country skint though? It can afford to look after people coming in from other countries. Perhaps it should look after its own first.

Whilst not a Europhile in any way it does provide a lot of employment and income. Going further afield, as a developed and relatively rich country, we a have a duty and moral obligation to help those woth less than us. Your idea of poverty is very different to that of people in sub-saharan Africa or the slums of India.
  • . Everyone pays tax, and no doubt you will draw it out via a pension when you retire. What more do you want?

where do you think the money comes from to send your kids to school? where does the money come from to subsidise jobseekers' rent? jesus you now wish to take that money now, and no doubt happily accept it also when you retire. Why bother paying tax in the first place???

let everyone else send your kids to school whilst you can live the life of someone who can afford to be picky. what a joke. You really should use your brain. Anyway, there is no point trying to reason with the unreasonable. I hope the new anctions hit you, and hit you hard. maybe then you will realise the reality of the society we live in.

Well I don't know about you but I know a large chunk of my money gets spent on the bombs for Iraqis and bailouts to private bankers, I think the money would be better spent by being given directly to the people, that way these goliath banks would fail, creating more competition in the market with co-op building societies and smaller 'Dave' style banks.

of-course people with significant (by that I mean anything over 50k? which the government garentees) savings would loose out (big deal, if you've got money for significant savings your wealth should be lost/ re-distributed).

Yes I too am a jobseeker on the work programme from day 1 because I've been released from prison. But I've read enough to know that the monetary system is just a new form of chain, with fiat money being literally created from debt with never enough in circulation to pay off the interest. Add that to the fact that govenments lend from private banks and use your kids future tax burdens as interest / collateral.

I am looking for work whilst starting a business, but I intend to dodge as much tax as i possibly can as I can only hope this system of enslavement crashes sooner rather than later, when It does I'm sure you will wake up to the society we live in.

Don't believe me? Watch 'money masters' or 'The history of money' on youtube.

  • Being out of work for a year says to employers 'you are on the dole and you do not want to work' - fact as they all say it 'oh you have a great cv, why aren't you working' - Well give me your job and I will be!! HAHA I get this line all the time from agencies, as a matter of fact I got this again today

Today three agencies told me they will not deal with me as I have been out of work for 6 months or more. I have been using agencies for 17 years there's been times i have been out of work for longer than 1 year, they are not allowed to turn you down for this reason. You are a commodity and your information is business to them, go back to them and tell them they have to consider you, drop a line that the job centre told you to come back and register.

my comments are in bold. thanks

With xmas looming their are literally thousands and thousands of jobs out there. Please browse the websites of the major retailers (e.g next, argos, M&S). these jobs will be taken by those who really want them, who really want to be employed. I genuinely wish those all the luck possible.

Even retail jobs are thin on the ground these days.

Also, people have committed suicide due to not being able to find work AT ALL.
