How old is your PC??, Do you know if it's an award BIOS?
Some of ther older Award BIOS had a 32GB llimit on hard drive sizes. In fact a lot of older motherboards had this. Some overcame it with a BIOS update, some had a jumper fitted to the motherboard.
Is your BIOS set to AUTO detect the hard drive?? what does the BIOS say the drive is?
Some Hard drives were fitted with a Jumper which limited the capacity to only 32GB (to make them compatible with older motherboards)
On the rear of the drive, is there a jumper fitted in the CENTRE pins?? If so, remove it.
Look at the diagram below, compare to the rear of your drive and make sure there is no jumper at the w/CLJ position (vertical one in the centre)
The obvious first choice is the FAT32/NTFS issue which has already been addressed.0 -

Hello CHR15
Problem sorted...Thank YOU very much.
It was the jumpers at the back of the hard drive, once I removed the centre pin and formatted the remaining unused space, got 45GB.
A good result.
Once again thank.
