Laptop - procdedure entry point problem

It worked...until I shut down the laptop and then turned it on again later after windows had updated again!!0

Change your windows update settings:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows7/Change-how-Windows-installs-or-notifies-you-about-updates
Uncheck the "Give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates" check box.
Uninstall: kb2731771
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-vista/Remove-an-update

Have tried a million different things including above mentioned
