I am considering buying a new TV, preferably LED after a bit of an issue with screenburn on a plasma TV recently.
I have seen what I believe to be a couple of decent deals but would appreciate aan MSE view on what would be the best option to go for.
LG 42LM620T and Toshiba 46TL868B @ £559
Toshiba 46TL963B @ £626 but have also seen this on offer with a free blu-ray player for £619.
Are there any other TV's that I should be considering ahead of these? Primarily just for ordinary TV viewing so picture quality and a decent sound would be the essentials and wi-fi etc less of an issue. The budget would be around £650 max.
Grateful for some views!

LG 42LM620T - I got the 47 version, so LG 47LM620T. I would go for the 47" version. The bigger the screen the better the 3D. I heard that the 47 version screen is better than the 42, so I research this.
I picked up my tv with a blu-ray player from currys (after a little chat of course) for £800 the TV was £699 at the time and the blu-ray was a 5.1 system costing almost £400.0 -

If picture and sound quality are the essentials your going the wrong way by getting an LED over plasma.
Plasma is inherently better picture, particularly if you get a Panasonic screen. Whilst evidently screen technology doesnt directly impact sound the reality is plasma screens are much thicker and that allows for better sound (namely speakers) to be put into the case.
An LED screen is great in that it is 1cm thick but your then using something not much more than earphone speakers but trying to fill a whole room with their sound!
LED has three advantages over plasma - 1) the screen is brighter so is better in bright rooms (which most TV show rooms are) 2) they have non-reflective screens so less issues of windows or lights causing problems and 3) they use less electricity so cheaper to run
In virtually every other way, including your important image and sound, plasma is better.
I would recommend getting yourself down to a home cinema shop which has a viewing room, given your budget a Richer Sounds would be best but they dont all have rooms. Have a look at the screens in a darkened room and you will not sing the praises of LED much at all, especially with factory default settings which are very much designed for looking good in shops with very bright lighting0 -
And screen burn is a thing of the past for plasmas too in most experiences.0
