This sounds harsh but the "newbies" who have amazing first wins.. Seems to be more and more of them. I never had that beginners luck :rotfl:

I also hate the comps where you have to do something and then the one with the highest votes win, because it's unlikely that the best one will win. The winner will be someone who is better at nagging people to vote for them. I rarely do these comps anymore.

Yes - Absolutely my pet hate - no point in even joining in voting comps.

After that I don't like blog comps using Rafflecopter.

Well I've been comping for 2 years come the 15th!!
    Pet hates:
Voting comps of any kind - I don't do them and will not vote for anyone on principle (so don't ask -- oh dear there's another pet hate!!)

LEMs that say sorry you didn't win but here's **% off your next purchase - then finding out there's a minimum spend.

lots of effort for a little prize.

compers arguing the toss on FB and twitter.

people falling for scam comps like the ones that came out with iphone5 - you can smell them a mile off. Then when someone who tweets once or has name of MD people get upset..

Twitter comps where the company/person giving the prize obviously 'chooses' someone to win - friend / family / someone who's sucked up to them...

twitter comps that ask you tweet over and over again - then say the comp is at **am or **pm and will run for 5 mins!

    Pet LOVES

MSE :T:T:T Especially regular comp posters! You're all :A
Good friends on FB and Twitter that I've never met!
    Advents :santa2:
Oh and winning!! even if the prize is small and not very often..;)
Thanks to those that post the comps!!

LOL BLULU!!!! Yes CAPTCHAS can be humourous at times - I have had a few rude words appear randomly that have made me chuckle! I'm sucking on Maltesers!

See, chocolate is always the answer :D

Here is the link to the fab lecture on how Captchas are useful. It's a long vid - just over 16 mins, but is soooo interesting. It's worth it for the bits about Captcha art alone - hilarious!

I hate the tick boxes too and the sponsors are sly now as some swap their yes and no boxes round to try and catch you out! Iaccidently ticked a yes to some bingo site and immediately received spam! I also accidently ticked yes to a mobile message and immediately had about 5 messages come through one after the other and when I tried to stop them I was charged  I wasn't happy! Now I never tick yes and am very careful!
