  • Well all I can say is, I hope they damn well do end up being ill for telling lies. They deserve everything they get for praying on peoples feelings.
  • I'm pretty annoyed about it too. I keep getting e-mails telling me it will be sent out next week then don't hear anything for two weeks, then get another e-mail saying next week, etc!
If I have to make a trip to the addresses I find online to try to confront them in person, I just might!
Maybe I'll take them to small claims court like someone has been suggesting.

Try and find a phone number and give them a call as sometimes it's the quickest way rather than waiting for them to answer an e-mail or message. Put some pressure on them too and make up a story to say it is for your teenage child from Santa who will be very upset if it doesn't arrive on time.
  • Ask them for their address and say you will arrange your own courier to go and collect it. Yunno - to save them extra hassle, given that they've had such a run of bad luck over the past few months, which has seemingly prevented them from walking through the door of a post office.

Really sad for you - you must have been so excited to find out you'd won :(

If the e-mail address is still working, send them an email saying if you don't receive the ipad within 7 days then after seeking the advice of a lawyer, you'll take legal action against them for failure to supply goods (something like that.)

Agree with paadzer with putting pressure on them. Phone/email/write letters.
  • Just had two replies:

It has been over a week since your last correspondence.

Please post my iPad ASAP or I will take it to small claims court.

    Kind regards,

  • Not sure why I haven't had any communication from Miss Gym herself since August... surely she could take 5 minutes to go the post office...

Bloomin' heck hun, you still haven't received it?! :(

I'm another one who thinks that he's not really ill. I'd definitely be taking it to the small claims court. x

  • But he's apparently already received the ipad, so all he has to do it either get to the post office himself, get his wife to go, or get the neighbour's ruddy cat to go.

Even if he is ill, you'd think he'd want to get this one stress out of the way - one thing less to worry about, no? The guy's a flipping joke.

And anyway - wasn't the competition run by his WIFE's website. Wouldn't you think that she'd take some responsibility and want to relieve her sick husband of some stress? Why's he dealing with it in the first place??
  • All questions I have asked myself repeatedly since I realised I was being messed about. He just keeps telling me he's in the hospital, probably hoping that I will feel sorry for him. It's actually making me feel quite the opposite because I don't believe he has cancer and if he doesn't, that's a sick way of fobbing me off. Especially since my mother has beat cancer twice...
I'll be looking into small claims court for January. I just want to be rid of the burden of dealing with these people.
