If they're telling the truth, it shouldn't be too long before you get it. One thing that's a bonus is that they're replying to you and not just ignoring you.
I was kept waiting a couple of months for a tablet I'd won, but that was by a big well known company. If things go pear-shaped, at least you've got a stack of evidence.
Fingers crossed for you, really hope you get it.There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

I have had no further correspondence since that last e-mail.
I did send an e-mail on the 26th saying this:
Hi,
Any news on the iPad?
Royal Mail deliver recorded post next day for a reasonable price.
Kind regards,
Caroline Clarke
Still no response so I have e-mailed the ASA again along with Solihull Trading Standards. Perhaps should report to Fraud Alert as well?
I'm pretty sure I will never see this iPad.0 -
I can't believe they're still fobbing you off!
Perhaps it's just me being bad minded, but I can't help but think the cancer / hospital thing is a con to make you feel guilty about pursuing them. I would contact the IPC and any other organisation that could have them done for fraud!
Best of luck!0 -

I have already contacted the IPC who passed it to the ASA who told me they could do nothing because all e-mails were being bounced back.
Once the Miss Gym blog was back up, I requested the ASA to try again. They said they would try again if I didn't receive the iPad on the 14th of November. When I did not receive the iPad on the 14th I didn't bother to e-mail the ASA because I had been given yet another date of the 21st of November and since I had a date that it was expected to arrive, the ASA won't do anything.
I have e-mailed the ASA again yesterday but I'm not holding out much hope.
I am pretty sure the cancer thing is just another method of fobbing me off. Apparently this man's Twitter has a tweet from MAY saying he was back at work after having testicular cancer. If he does have it, maybe that's just karma and he deserves it. :rotfl:0 -

I'm sure you're right, they probably think once you read that you'd think "jeez, better leave them alone and not nag, they've enough on their plates" etc. I certainly have a hunch that it's all a blag.
I really hope you get somewhere with your complaints, sounds like you're just being passed from pillar to post!0 -

I'm not the first to be scammed by this guy. At least I haven't actually lost any money to him, just lots of time and hope.
When he ran the scam website Paymonthlystore a lot of people lost money to him thinking they were going to get an iPad 2. I did read that someone actually received an iPad 2 from him and others have received money back...
I just wish someone would do something about this guy! Solihull Trading Standards merely responded to my e-mail with a couple links. The links don't give me much information at all so I'm still stuck. I really do not like feeling helpless like this.0 -
cant believe this but i agree i dont think the cancer thing is true and its sick if its not aot of people genuinely suffer every day and its not right to use an illneesWhat goes around-comes around0
