...what's so hard about posting the make and model if you are already at the PC?
Perhaps it's not in the same room? Our router is upstairs in littl'un's room (because before we had said littl'un, it was the computer room!) but we are normally downstairs on laptops.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Have followed the instructions as above posts and found that the password I had been using was correct.Still not letting me connect from my phone and most of the time it doesnt recognise my wi-fi , I just get message of "no Wi-Fi AP found".
Have just had my phone repaired from the Carphone Warehouse and wonder if there has been different settings ? It takes forever to get on the web using the 3G when it was quite fast before.Am planning on going back to CPW to ask about settings.
Thanks for the help.The truth shall set you free.....................0 -
If you have a PC/laptop with Windows 7 that can connect to your wifi, then there is no need to do a factory reset, nor log into the router's admin pages to find the wireless key. Export the wifi settings to a usb stick then open the settings file with a text editor to see the wireless key.How do I add a signature?0

If your phone has been repaired then it's probably undergone a factory reset.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

AP = Access Point
If other devices can see your wifi connection, it's likely to be a problem with the phone Try restarting the router (Power off. Wait 20 seconds. Power on) then reboot your phone and try again.How do I add a signature?0
