hi folks my nephews looking at getting the new samsung note 2 hes looking for 24 month contract unlimited txts around 500mb to 1 gb net or even unlimited hes not bothered about calls as he always txting and would prefer not vodafone wheres the best deals for it online or instore cheers .

Best deal I've seen which meets most of your needs is a 12 month deal with Vodafone unfortunately (£169.99 for the phone and £36 a month) which works out at £601 (with a further possible £30 Quidco cash back). 500MB plus 2GB BT Openzone wifi, 300 mins, unlimited texts. You also get 3 months unlimited data 'test drive'. After 12 months, get it unlocked and stick a giffgaff (or similar) SIM card in it.

O2 looks interesting. They are doing the Note 2 PAYG for £479.99. Presumably. you can put a giffgaff SIM in it and get 1GB for £10 or unlimited data for £12 a month.

you can also get the 24 month contract on o2 as above but for £13.50 with only 100 mb.

If you believe (as i do) that the data bolt on can be removed and that you will get the £50 Quidco/TCB then assume you let the data bolt on run for 2 months until quidco pays then it is a net price of approx £410, cheaper than payg price (post quidco/tcb)

cheers everyone he was considering a deal threw affordablemobiles but after other posts on here about complaints about them maybe best avoided .
