Virgin Media 12 Months free data on PAYG smartphones

Does anyone know how much is the data limit on this offer? http://store.virginmedia .com/virgin-media-mobile/pay-as-you-go/mobile-pay-as-you-go.html

It doesn't state the requirements to get this 12 months data, except maybe using on of their phones? Too good to be true?

Otherwise, their simply8 tariff for VM customers seems decent.

you get 1GB per month, you get a voucher with the phone that you activate and that will give you the 1GB per month which would normally cost £5 to buy each month http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/genericContent.do?contentId=our.promotions.footer.sm191

Did anyone get this working? I have the card, but it only has a 9 digit number on it, not 10 as it should be.

I would keep trying. You only have until April 2013 to use it.
