tv signal booster

Yes I do have an aerial on the roof, I have had it for many years
Does the aerial and the height of the mast differ much from your immediate neighbours ?
I've had the same problem recently too!
I've just set up a TV at my flat, and attached the freeview box. The TV was in front of the window. Then I decided to move it to the adjacent wall (about 1 metre distance), and now I can't get ITV and C4. Grr.
All very bizarre.
I bought a better coaxial cable in Currys for 9.99 and a signal booster for 14.99. Still no joy.
I don't watch much TV, so it isn't causing me too much of a problem, but I do miss it.
Any other ideas?
Did you extend the cable at all when you moved the T V the 1 metre0 -
Have a look here http://www.!!!!!!.uk/tech/freeview_problems.htm.
Your problem could stem from any one in a number of factors
Aerial connections waterlogged/corroded, aerial become mis-aligned, aerial downlead coax of poor quality, or poor connection on freeview box. Plugging the freeview box via a wall plate could seriously reduce the signal by itself."...IT'S FRUITY!"0
