Have to say i love The Works, and even more so the cheap prices! I did have the same problems as everyone regarding the late dispatch, the email apology and 1 item being out of stock.

Luckily the item which was out of stock was part of the 4 for £5 promotion, and i was refunded the £1.99 selling price of the 1 book - paid £3.01 for 3 books ! Although i was gutted that the one book i really wanted didn't turn up.

Since then i placed another order a couple of days later with my 20% discount using the cheapest delivery option and i have to say i found the service excellant! I'm sorry for people who are still waiting on their orders, but please don't let it put you off forever! There really are some great bargains on there

My last order was dispatched and delivered within 3 days of me placing it, so i was very impressed, and the packaging was a solid book box - like the ones amazon and play.com use for dvds.

Fingers crossed everyone gets their orders soon, and hopefully my recent order is a sign they've sorted out what was wrong!

it took 10 days for my delivery, and the packaging was ok, the box was a bit mis-shapen but everything was safe ... weird thing was, the delivery man jumped over my wall to deliver it as it was only 8am and I hadn't unlocked the gate! Guess he didn't want to come back later!
