    I placed my order on the 4th they arrived yesterday ,wasnt too impressed ,parcel just came wrapped in brown paper no padding at all, luckily items were fine.

    I have emailed them and was told that there was a problem with the system or something and that they would send things out asap.

    I am disappointed, to be honest. I've used The Works Online before and had no problems. And, I was very pleased with the items I had ordered - managed to check off quite a few people on the Christmas list - but I didn't expect quite so many issues/delays in receiving the items. :o

    Arrived yesterday and very pleased with the item. Not so pleased with thin brown paper used to deliver it in though as it had got a bit soggy in the rain. Fortunately the actual item was inside a plastic bag so was fine.

    Got my order this morning, all fine.

    Packed in a jiffy bag too, was worried about the packaging problems others had mentioned.

    Not impressed - arrived late; 2 items still missing; 1 incorrect item (although, unlike some others here, it did come well packaged).

    Will try to call them Monday :mad:
  • I'm not having much look contacting them. After the initial email last week, to which the response was a plain "it shouldn't take this long to dispatch, I'll look into it", I've heard nothing.

    I've contacted them twice since then - as the dispatch email [stating delivery on Monday] does not tally with my order [items are missing] and there are a couple of issues with the price not tallying up - but I have not had a response. :/

    It is such a shame. As mentioned, I've used The Works online before without any problems. But the service this time has been really poor.
  • Had the same problems as everyone else. Ordered items over a week ago and received only one item. Contacted them yesterday and customer services told me my order hadnt even been despatched. I told them I thought it was really poor service to not even send an email to customers letting them know what was going on especially when some of us have been made to pay for delivery. Definitely wont bother using them again due the problems. They claimed there was a massive backlog and the items that get delivered straight away are coming from store, the items which are delayed come from the warehouse...looks like we will all be waiting quite a while!
