I was wondering where my order was then seen this thread... I just checked my emails and have had an email this morning saying my order has been despatched.

I placed it on 15/10... It's Sunday so I guess it wont be on its way until tomorrow (unless they sent it Sat) which means about a week just to send the order... Thats poor!

I have finally received the bulk of my order. The Works have replied to my emails to say the missing item is out of stock [odd as it is still listed as in stock on the website] and so say I have been refunded.

I'll have to check the bank. And go into the store near work tomorrow - I really wanted the missing item, as it was a gift.

is anyone else having trouble with the website? i manage to put my address in but then it keeps crashing

EDIT: fixed it, just put my address in again as delivery address rather than select the billing address

My order took ages, I recieved a pack of pens from my order in a jiffy bag then got that email apologising for the delay. Finally got the bulk of my order but the main thing I wanted is missing, no sign of it on the invoice and no email to say it i out of stock. Have emailed them and no reply yet! My local shop is very odd, it keeps 'closing down' changing its name then 'closing down' again and reopening as The Works. :think: Its done that several times this year!

I also had an issue with getting my items delivered but was happy with how they handled it really. I received one item which was jam labels in a padded envelope then heard nothing for a week. Then receied an email like the one another poster posted: an apology and money off code and within two days they'd sent the order out via courier, sent me a tracking number etc and the items were better than I thought too :j

I hope everyone waiting for items get them soon! It's such a pain when something messes with the delivery and customer services is as slow as a dead snail.

Mine came today, after 9 days. No apology email... Came well packaged though all is well that ends well!

my order has been a shamble, i got dividers within a few days (that was 2 weeks ago!), a few days later more of the order arrived, on the same day I got an email saying a card i'd ordered was discontinued and refunded 29p. I replied asking where the rest was, and 2 days later i got an email saying it would be dispatched the same day.

After this got another email saying a book i'd ordered was no longer available and was refunded the few pound it cost. Still no sign of the order!

Well, just received my order: 20 days after placing it !

some of the stuff's not been delivered as "out of stock" although, like a previous poster, the website suggests otherwise.

Not impressed one little bit. I will not be ordering from them again
