Rainbow Taskbar

want your vista taskbar for your desktop like this:

well, all you need to do is edit the wallpaper of your choice,
1. open the wallpaper in an image editing software
2. Paste THIS gradient ontop of the wallpaper
3. make it around the same size as a taskbar
4. save the image and set as background

Unlock Vistas Hidden Boot Screen
1. click start
2. type run in the start menu search, open the run command
3. type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks)
4. click the boot tab
5. Check the box beside No GUI boot

Run Non-Vista Applications On Vista

1.Right click on the installation or program file
2.Select Properties
3.Click on the Compatibility Tab
4.Check “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
5.Select the mode in which you want to run the file in
6.Checkmark any additional settings you wish to enable or disable
7. Click Ok

Enable Glass (Aero) In Vista Home Basic

since the multicoloured taskbar requires glass, heres how to do it :)

1.Start Menu> Click in the "Start Search" box> Type in "run">Click on "Run" under the list of Programs found>Type "regedit" in the text box and click "Open" or press "Enter" key.

2.When the "Registry Editor" opens up, click and open the following folders:

3."HKEY_CURRENT_USER" then "Software" then "Microsoft" then "Windows" and then "DWM".

4.Double click on "Composition" type "1" in the "Value data" field and click on the "OK" button.

5.Double click on "CompositionPolicy" type "2" in the "Value data" field and click on the "OK" button.

6.Exit out of the Registry Editor.

7.Start Menu> Click in the "Start Search" box> Type in "command prompt"> Click on "Command Prompt" under the list of Programs found> type in "net stop uxsms" press the "Enter" key> Wait for it to do its thing, then type in "net start uxsms" press "Enter" key.

7.Screen may flicker to set it up. Then right-click on your desktop and click on "Personalize" > Click on "Window Color and Appearance".#
