Morning everyone, hugs to those that need them :-)
Today is going to be a housework day for me. Had an egg sandwich for brekkie with the eggs that needed using up, on my hm bread ( first time in ages I had the bm on). Slow cooker on for dinner with a stew which will have leftovers for tommorrow, off to add dumplings to that later, proper cold weather comfort food.
May call at the allotment later, its been sorely neglected the last month :-(

Morning all, not managed to get on here for the last week. My eye has cleared up finally, the infection had better not come back for a third time:mad::mad:
I hope you are all keeping well.
Sun is out but its chilly.Have put the bath/toilet mats in the machine will put them on the line in a min , hope they dry.
Have to wait in for my brother , my dishwasher finally gave up last week:eek::eek:. As my brother and his girlfriend have just moved in together they have pretty much 2 of everything so he gave me his dishwasher as they now only have room for a slimline on in the new kitchen. So he is going to plumb it in and his friend is taking my old one to scrap it, least I havent got to find someone to dispose of it or it would have been sitting in the garden for a while :eek:

My wrists and elbows are playing up atm, its the chillier weather thats done it so have been using my supports and wearing all my nice thick wolly cardis and jumpers to retain some heat .

Christmas shopping is well under way, (food and presents ) I have a big walk in cupboard in my bedroom and this is storing it all. Hopefully come december it will be only fresh stuff that I need to get.Have even been wrapping pressies as bought and keeping track on my laptop of who has what. Makes a change for me , usually I have to guess as I have a habit of wrapping stuff and forgetting the labels;) ds4 was not happy with a pair of pink hair straightners last christmas:rotfl::rotfl:

Just pottering round today doing bits and bobs , tea will be steak and ale pie with mash and broccoli.

Good morning everyone

Good wishes to all sick people and pets, hugs to anyone who is sad or fed up or just needs a hug.

Beautiful weather here so was out hanging up overnight washing at 0615 before starting off for work. I just didn't realise I would have to de-ice the car so was a bit late, so it's a good job I work flexi-time.

I am now an expert yoghurt maker ... well I am until it all goes wrong again. I bought a load of cheap tinned fruit and we will be eating yoghurt and fruit for desserts and taking some for lunches. I want to buy a cheap box of granola and try it for breakfast too, my money saving take on Muller Crunch Corners!

Dinner is going to be a store cupboard and freezer raid so goodness knows what we will end up with but luckily we both laugh at some of the lucky dip combinations.

I found two unopened clip frames last night so am going to get my glass paints out and print some photos and there are another couple of stocking fillers for my daughter. She said her walls were empty so I am determined to help fill them.

Morning everyone

I thought it was kids harvest festival today. Dragged H up there nice and early to get a seat and I've got the wrong day :eek::o:o thankfully we've not missed it, but we've had a practice run for tomorrow :rotfl:

Just liberated a load more stuff from kids bedrooms wardrobe and handed them on to a very grateful pre school.
More decorating to do today, toss up between gloss work (which I hate) and emulsion which I enjoy doing lol

Tea will be um......something I can dig from the freezer. Must make an effort to plan more ahead

Morning All

Chilly but we do have sun, so washing is in the machine.

I had a lie in this morning because I had an awful night.
DH just left me when he got home from work, he said that he heard me moving about all night. My hands are as sore as hell today too.:(

uollypool that happened to DD one Christmas, when DD was little and before DS had arrived SIL had sent presents for DD and her cousin (boy), she got a hoodie which she was well impressed with (being a tomboy then) and her cousin got a velvet dress with lace collar. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks.....she had a steam room y'day and some cupping before bed bought some more up....but sleep right through....she's had her tabs and brekkie and hasn't been sick yet :j. She's due back at the vets tonight but can't afford it so will have to wait and see what we decide when DH is home....It was 90 last time and i presume would be the same again if she needs all 4 tablets again. but i think it's defo clearing up

beautiful and sunny here and im at work till 6pm

went shopping last night with DD2 for some clothes and we nipped into M+S about 7.30pm just in time to catch the reeductions :j 10 p each for romaine spinach coleslaw potaoes spicy chips :j:j ive never been before at that time

little os for me due to work but will put a wash in when i get in tonight
burgers in buns tonight as we didnt have them last night

Bailey and Cassie have arrived! :T:T:T:T:T They are lovely dogs; large - Bailey is a long-haired Border Collie, and Cassie is a lurcher x whippet, and just a little smaller than Bailey. The bungalow's going to be full of dog this week!:rotfl: Apparently they like their food at exactly the same time every day, so I've put reminders in my phone so that it squeaks at me.;) They're only here for three days, but it looks like it should be fun.:o

Afternoon all

Finally got on here. Managed to buy my sister a swarvorski necklace and braclet set from my dad for xmas. Got it on Wowcher, £129 down to 20!:eek: She collects that stuff, so I hope she likes it!:T

Had faggots and peas for lunch. Sandwich tonight I think!

My arm aches today. Particularly the elbow. My bruises are also coming out from my fall at the hairdressers, so I am feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment. I also have no energy, which is g:Ttting me down. I have phoned my nurse, hope she gets back to me soon.:o

I try not to let my illness get me down, but sometimes it does....

Anyway, SIL starts his new job today, so that's a bit of good news.:T
