I'd go for it (providing you haven't applied for any recently) because if you get accepted then it'll save you loads! If you get declined then just don't apply for another one for ages, cos that's when it starts damaging you

Not too recently. Stupid thing is the Barclaycard was a 0% transfer card, transferred a capital one balance to it, paid it off with a bonus then spent on it again which is at a stupid interest rate. That was July I think.K&Co (0%) [STRIKE]£58.40[/STRIKE] £0; Nat West O/D (18%) [STRIKE] £950 [/STRIKE] £937.26 Barclaycard (21.9%) [STRIKE]£1,039.01[/STRIKE] £799.06; Barclayloan [STRIKE]£4,756[/STRIKE] £4,637; mum (0%) [STRIKE]£35,000[/STRIKE] £35,000 0% Total Debt [STRIKE]£41,803.41[/STRIKE] £41,373.32 :eek:0

Not been on for a while, my nan died 31st so mse went out the window both in action and forum.
I have a few expenses now (paying to get to funeral and an outfit) and spent a lot going to see her before she died. I don't begrudge a penny though, the debt will have to wait.
I will be back on the bandwagon ASAP and will check in to keep in touch [STRIKE]if anyone is still reading[/STRIKE]K&Co (0%) [STRIKE]£58.40[/STRIKE] £0; Nat West O/D (18%) [STRIKE] £950 [/STRIKE] £937.26 Barclaycard (21.9%) [STRIKE]£1,039.01[/STRIKE] £799.06; Barclayloan [STRIKE]£4,756[/STRIKE] £4,637; mum (0%) [STRIKE]£35,000[/STRIKE] £35,000 0% Total Debt [STRIKE]£41,803.41[/STRIKE] £41,373.32 :eek:0 -

Thanks
. Well we've totally cocked up this month as we had our eye off the ball. Transferred the rest of our Christmas savings to account to take up some of the deficit and having to use Barclaycard for food and fuel. Bloody !!!! and !!!!!
I'm going to draw up a strict budget for each month that we have to stick to but will have to wait as my head is in a shed. So annoyed with myself

On any journey your gonna have crisis points and slip ups, the point is not to beat yourself up about it and then throw everything out the window. Just focus on getting your head straight and then get it all back on track.
You've done so well so far.0 -
Thank you Smithfield just can't wait until my next payday to sort this out

Did you go for a 0% card? getting that 21.9% down would help get that £800 paid off a lot faster
