How much gold / silver did you have to cash in? I keep thinking about taking stuff but don't know if they'd just laugh in my face and give me 10p!!

  • you'd be surprised how much you can get, I got about £70 for a 18k ring that was around three grams.

Especially if you have a lot of not great or broken 9ct lying in a drawer.
  • Well done with your extra payment. I sold some gold just before Christmas last year and was pleasantly surprised by how much I got. You just have to be careful and shop around.

  • I had two rings (going back to pick up the stones) and two necklaces in gold. More in silver but that was only worth £10 out of my total.
