I also managed to get my sleeping patterns back to normal so I promptly fell asleep when I got home from work and have recently woken up. Oops! I'm a bit jealous of those only just going back to work as well. Oh well I'm off to enjoy my pizza (may have just been delivered :D)

  • Well some of my items sold :) So 3 have been paid for and posted. With some money left over in my budget I have now all the money for my part of my masters :D

I'm now starting a boiler fan fund as it is on the was out and I would rather have the money ready and waiting rather than having to scrabble around for it.

I was also thinking of putting my old ball dress (from my graduation ball) as it is now too big and I have no intention of being that size again!! Has anyone sold a dress like this before? Should I ebay it or sell it some other way? Also when do balls happen these days?

    Hi Littlefred,

Well done on saving for your Masters :T

I have a Bridesmaids dress to sell and was thinking of ebay, just waiting until Spring as hope to catch wedding/prom season!

A thought on your boiler fan is it worth signing up to monthly boiler cover with one of the electric/gas providers at about £16 a month? If the fan goes in the next year it would get replaced for less than the £300 and you get a service included.
  • I have a friend who is a plumber and does everything for me at mates rates so it ends up being more expensive for me. I do save some money each month for the boiler as my own insurance iyswim.

One of the other ebayers paid so I've posted that and then had a snooze as I'm currently doing an extra night shift to cover sickness so more overtime for me!

No snow here just rain and I'm glad as I hate the snow!!

  • All ebay parcels paid for and posted. I made it to the gym today as I only love 2 streets away along with about 2 other people:rotfl: I was offered transport to get to work so here I am and I'm just hoping they'll turn up in the morning to take me home! I just wish the snow would melt without going through the ice stage.
