Weren't you on about this a month or two back? You've clearly not learned anything. There's clearly a massive management gulf in your place of work. If I was responsible for you I'd be finding the quickest way to legally get rid of you. You spend far too much time messing about at work.0

And you clearly haven't read & clearly jump to the kneejerk reaction of "haven't learned...".
I've already said that yes, i DID learn something from the first time, unfortunately for myself it was the WRONG thing.
I learned not to put your boss or the company in a bad light on facebook. When the first incident was going on, this was the thing that kept getting thrown at me - putting the company in a bad light to outsiders. I said i'd not do that again & i haven't.
So to say i haven't learned ANYTHING is nonsense. I just didn't learn the lesson that i should've.
I didn't think anything wrong with my remarks that's brought this 2nd incident due to the fact we say that stuff to each others face every day & everyone just joins in with the banter, giving as much as they take. Nobody was complaining & the person my remark was about can't believe how or why this has developed.
The lesson i should've learned & now have learned is that:
* ANYTHING remotely work related is NOT to be put on facebook. Even a comment such as "got to start work early in the morning" should not go on - it's not worth the risk as you don't know whether someone will report you for complaining about the company, even though you may not be.
* ANY joking in the workplace is not to be had. I'm not being smart when i say that, it's a genuine statement. If i joke with you & you joke with me, we may both be ok with it, but someone else may overhear & not like what we're saying to each other, even though it doesn't involved them at all.
So as such...
The only thing you should be doing work related is receiving orders & carrying them out, nothing more, nothing less. No discussing what you're doing after work, no discussing what you did yesterday, no joking, just carrying out your orders & discussing the work you're doing in a positive manner.
Again, i'm not being smart, but anything other than the above is simply not worth the risk.
Hopefully i've not learned my lesson too late, but to say i learned nothing is wrong. You spend far too much time messing about at work.
Sorry, i've just picked up on this. I'd like to see your evidence of that please!
If by the banter i mentioned you mean this is "too much time spent messing about" then sorry, is it not possible to be saying anything like this WHILST working? So no time has been lost. If you're referring to facebook, then this was outside of work, so i can only assume you weren't referring to the actual comment made. I don't "mess about" at work. PEople can talk & work at the same time.0 -
i've nearly been caught out by facebook at least 2 times now. I always just write about general stuff, never mention work stuff and just keep it to my outside life tbh as its not worth a moment of thought online for tarnishing your whole career:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

UPDATE:
I've been summoned for a disciplinary hearing, though I'm no more in the picture than I was as I fully expected this despite my supervisors support.
Their letter says if I don't attend etc then I can face summary dismissal which is standard stuff they put on all disciplinary hearing letters.
What bothers me is they say the outcome of his meeting. Luke result in me being issued with a warning as per the companies procedure.
If this is a written, then added to my current written I would expect to equal a final & I'll be thanking my lucky stars.
If however, the warning is a final (as a final is still obviously 'a warning') then add this to my current written & I'm knackered.
So in short I'm sill sweating on the outcome.0 -

A number of members of this forum tried to tell you this in the last thread, so yes you should have learned this back then.
As for my evidence regarding you spending significant amounts of time messing about at work. One only needs to take a spare hour or two to read through your backlog of posts where you yourself provide the evidence.PEople can talk & work at the same time.
True, but it would seem that no everyone can stay out of trouble.0
