Depends what size you want. I've just got the Nexus 7 and I absolutely love it. Good size to do most things on and very portable. For me the bigger tablets didn't work as well as they were big to carry round, but this one's smaller but still does everything I want it to.0

'Best'? or 'Best value'? Nexus 7 fits the 2nd category, as does the playbook 32/64gb. For 'best' wait until the MS tablets appear, if not for one of them, but it might make other tablets like the transformer, or even the ipad amend price.0

I have the Nexus 7 and am getting rid of my Playbook. It's better in so many ways.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Should be, costs 40% more! Hardware wise, the nexus is streets ahead, however I still prefer the playbook OS. I haven't come across anything I can't do on a playbook that I can on my android phone, other than some android specific C++ coded games/apps0 -
The Playbook is still good value if you like the cameras and stereo speakers plus the 64Gb at a good price..
I like features such as Google Now, though, on my phone and tablet plus I wanted a better, more modern tablet.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

We are getting all 3 children the Nexus 7 for Christmas however I have read reports that the screens on them are a bit too easy to crack, any experience on this anyone?"You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0

There are rumours going around that the Nexus 7 will reduce in price by the end of this month with the 16 gb version coming down to somewhere around the current price of the 8 gb.
I think this is all tied in with the forthcoming announcement of the mini ipad and the 32 gb version of the Nexus 7.
I'm planning to buy a Nexus 7 but am now waiting for the price drop.0 -
Nexus 7 is being sold at pennies over hardware costs - it is effectively subsidised by Google and is a very powerful machine for the price.0
