i had 17 watchers watching my leather sofa (starting bid £150) and was quite hopeful that at least 2 or 3 would bid on it and i would get a fair amount of money back, as the auction wound down to the last few minutes i thought they were all going to snipe in at the last second.....but lo and behold the original bidder won it for £150!!! was quite happy to let it go as they were a young couple just starting out, and they deserved it!

was selling dads old 1965 mark one escort ( looked exactly like a lotus including green stripe ) had 624 watchers and well over 2000 views ( you know the little counter in the corner telling you how many people looked at item !!!)

My mum has got 8 items on ebay at the mo, and altogther she has 35 watchers :O i think thats pretty gooooooood

On one item i posted i had 15 watchers and the item did not sell re listed about a month later and sold for £150 which was great some times i think it is just pot luck if it sells or not

I've got 22 watchers on a dress with 5 bids on. got till tomorrow night???
Out of 8 items i have ending tomorrow only 4 have any watchers
I also tend to watch items that i prob have no intention of bidding on:o just out of interest!(cos i am sad and got nothing better to do lol:rotfl: )

I never get many watchers, as I sell to quite a specific niche market. It's not how many are watching, it's who they are that counts in this case! If I happen to get hold of one of the items that one of my best customers wants, then they will sometimes bid well over the odds for it because they know and trust me ...
