Was wondering what the most amount of watchers anyone has had on an item and if this means a good final price. Got quite a few on one item at the mo.

:rotfl:I'm one of them too
I get intrigued by how much something will sell for so just watch it.
I often forget to bid on things I actually want! Doh!
I do sometimes watch things that I may be thinking of selling just to see how they sell.
I'm not sure what amount people see as a huge amount of watchers. I only sell stuff from around the house and if I get about 10 watchers I get a bit excited!! I'm like a 5yr old. I sold a pair of shoes tonight for £21. I've had them for about 2 years and only paid £18 for them. My starting price was about £1.99 I think - well chuffed
I hate it when I've got a couple of watchers and then my item doesn't sell - its a bit of a disappointment but then I remember that I am probably doing the same to someone else :rotfl:Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Usually your watchers are people with similar/the same item as you, they are curious before posting theirs etc. I do this all the time."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

Last week I had 46 watchers on a playboy bikini that I paid £12 for and it sold for 41 quid....very happy.
I look on it this way, if I have 2 to 3 watchers for every 10 people who have viewed then I know it will sell ok.0 -
I never pay attension to the amount of watchers/hits, unless its virtually 0!!
It all depends on what your selling. When I sold my xbox 360 there was virtually no hits nor watchers, simply because one sold every 5 minutes on ebay so buyers could bid within minutes of logging into ebay. There was no need to watch or view any other auction other than the many ending within the next hour or so.
For that same reason the items i sell now dont get too many hits or watchers until the final hour or so, simply because theres approx 25,000 items in the category :P0 -
most i had was 26 on a designer bag:rolleyes: Democracy is a process by which the people are free to choose the man who will get the blame.:j0
