How is everyone? OH has been laid off again (but may have another job starting next week which we'll hear about tomorrow), SS has had his op and is getting under our feet. He tried being cheeky to OH (as OH said once he was better if he didn't gut his room his dig money was going up again, so SS said he'd just put up his petrol money! OH said that was blackmail and said he'd rather get the bus!). He also has said we shouldn't be trying for a baby as he doens't like the idea.... er..... tough! Told him (as did SIL) its none of his business. He said he doesn't want a screaming baby in the house so I told him he better move out then! He didn't like that. He's now 22, his Dad has said to him its about time he looked to move out before he's thrown out for his attitude. SIL has said she's happy to look after LO when it happens and I want to go back to work. I know realistically we can't wait indefinitely!

My 0% went through so that lasts for a year and hopefully it makes a big difference. I need to adjust my signature so I can see the difference.

Enjoying the bank holiday (even if the weather is dismal). OH and I went into town to get grass seed (OH decided to spray the dandelions on the lawn and didn't read the label and used the one that kills grass as well!!!!! so we woke up to a completely dead lawn!). I also went shopping for a summer jacket. Is something that fits too much to ask? I'll give you an example, Primarni I had to go up 2 sizes from my normal to get something that fastened yet the sleeves were a mile too long! In Asda they keep a wide range of stuff but not a great range of sizes! Anyone suggest somewhere I can get a nice summer jacket (something I can dress up or down) that won't cost the earth and is true to size?

    Hello :D

 to SS! Glad you and OH both agree that he'll be kicked out if he doesn't buck up his ideas! ;)

Has the 0% knocked your DFD forward?? :)

Know what you mean about clothes not fitting. I'm quite tall so generally jackets are either too short to begin with, or else they're long enough but the waist band is waaaay too high! And as for the sleeves, they're rarely long enough!! :p

I've managed to get a couple of nice jackets in TK Maxx. And Trespass actually. Depends on what sorta style you're looking for. Would Dunnes maybe have something? Or New Look? Dorothy Perkins would be a good choice too.

The 0% will have brought it forward, by how much? I haven't checked yet (bad I know!).

As for the jacket, I want something summery but not a mack or showerproof if that makes sense. But something that will look good with jeans, I know I don't want a dress blazer (as I wear suits to work). I saw a girl with a quilted style but thin leather jacket but longer and it looked nice. But I need something that won't break the bank and will suit an ample bust!

    Check!!! lol :)

Hmmmm.... Have you checked New Looks website??

    http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/jackets-and-coats_20021?No=0&Nrpp=100

There's quite a selection on there, and hopefully within budget. Nice wee leather look biker jacket in shell pink. I've a similar one I got from TK Maxx which is a deep red colour. I've a big chest and don't normally go for shorter jackets, but it's absolutely gorgeous. And yes I wear it with jeans too.

Productive weekend, OH and I have started tidying the garden and the old rose bushes have been cut back (rose wood for burning),not sure why they never grew back. Went to local nursery for plants and the ones I wanted (by time I found OH who had wandered off) had been bought by someone else (£16). So we went to Dobbies for a wander and some inspiration and what did I see there? ......the same baskets for £5 each!!!!!!! So I bought those instead, and couldn't believe it as Dobbie's is normally more expensive.

My dieting is going ok, but not fast enough for my liking! Money stuff, propbably spending more out than we should but trying to make sensible (or cheaper/offers) choices.

*phew* to getting the baskets for £5! You'd have been raging had you got the dearer ones and then seen the cheaper ones! :p

Any joy in finding a jacket yet?

Are you keeping a food diary as well as a spending diary? Try that for a week, then get a friend (who can be critical when necessary) to look over it, and highlight things you could maybe change.

    Happy Monday! :D
