Ppi claim upheld egg

  • I can't help you with regard to whether they will offset or not but can only advise you not to rely on the cheque arriving quickly. I had an extremely long wait for my cheque after I sent the form back I think it was nearly 3 months off the top of my head, telephoning egg and speaking to different advisors did nothing to help my stress levels as I was told a different story every time (I was even told at one point to expect the cheque as it had been posted, then a week later told it hadn't even been ordered). It did arrive eventually but as I had made promises to other creditors based on eggs "promises" it was an extremely stressful and long wait.

If its a loan then you should do as mine was taken out in 2005 and was front loaded and told that on the amount £7k then I would be more inclined to get it if I take out ppi.

If they had said claim upheld but off set against debt I would have been ok with it but when I get a letter saying they are sending a cheque to me it gets your hopes up but if I comes back not sending then will be annoyed as they should have info correct at sending letter but then nothing I can do about it.

Mine was 10k in 2005. Was front loaded as the statement shows. I applied online so have the 'you will have agreed during application' excuse to deal with. truth is, i only knew of the ppi when i was shredding some statements after completing my iva. I like you, totally agree with off setting given the amount my loan was for. How long before you got a decision?

@amz2013 it was 5 days after they got. My questionnaire got recieved response then about 6 weeks after that I got my redress from them sent back same day but never got, phoned and managed to get through to someone and then got form off to them. So all ordered but got to wait now which I hate.

@moneyineptitude I won't promise just want the money just know it won't come lol my luck.
