Don't even know how Samsung would check if you were the first owner.
In my own experience, though, HTC are fine repairing second hand phones so it's not a blanket thing.
Not that I ever mentioned that the phone wasn't originally bought by me, of course.0 -
Nokia repaired one of their phones for me under warranty and I had purchased it from EBay.
I googled the warranty details and discovered it still had over a year to run. No questions asked about ownership - they just checked that the warranty was still validThe Daily Mail

Typically, you overestimate the competence and intelligence of low-level CS. This is just one of the recent examples: Need a Micro SD card but they're all SDHC - help!
IMO, the information on their website is self-sufficient and clear. If you think differently and want to get any valuable information , quote it in your inquiry and ask for the clarification of the parts that seem to be unclear to you.
I would ask how the warranty can be transferred between the end users and what proofs they need.0 -
yeah think i will thanksWhat goes around-comes around0

they replied again saying not transferable so ive quoted them their own waranty infoWhat goes around-comes around0
