isa incorrectly transferred too early

I have filled in a fair few transfer forms in my time and never seen anything that says "do not send request before xxxxxx". Also, on the various bank/BS web sites, in the BBA ISA transfer guidance, and most importantly in the law (see link I posted earlier) there is nothing about an 'earliest request date'. Or any 'latest request date', for that matter.

I am assuming that the Aldermore form was similar?0 -
yep, almost identical to the form you posted. I'll write to Aldermore also, thanks0

Don't ask me, I didn't request the transfer - - but I very much reckon you are right. This transfer form looks not dissimilar of others I have seen.0 -

we've already posted the letter to the AA now, so I won't email unless they don't bother replying, like happened when I spoke to Hayley on the phone who promises a written reply and never sends it. I'll email if we don't succeed going through the complaints process0

Sorry to bump an old thread but we've had even more problems now. AA took the money back for a little while, then resent it back to aldermore (again BEFORE the fixed rate expired), we were only aware of this when we received a letter saying we've transferred the funds over and again they still haven't sent the full amount due. My dad has then received a cheque for £17 "to speed things up" whatever that is supposed to mean. My dad's ISA should have transferred on the 10th, and my mum's today, but they've both been sent too soon with not enough money transferred. They haven't offered anything in compensation for the 6 letters/emails we've had to write and the time we've wasted on numerous phone calls and still haven't sorted the problem. Any ideas how I should proceed as they don't seem competent at a simple transaction? Thanks0

Your parents write letters of complaint to AA.
