auto-zoom-text-wrapping

Just switched from android 2.3 to 4.0

On 2.2 the Internet browser used to auto-wrap text on zoom - so like for this forum i could pinch to zoom and any text would automatically zoom and wrap to screen size (to avoid panning)

Also noticed it would only scroll EITHER up/down OR left/right whcih made it really easy to scroll down a column of text without it wandering all over

On 4.0 it has 2 default browsers (incl Google Chrome) and neither behave like this - I have to either set font size in settings or double-click to zoom the browser but neither will wrap the text so it can be read easily - crap actually

Dunno whether auto-zoom-text-wrapping (Black berry used to call it "columning" text) is an attribute of the OS or browser

So in the first instance I'm just looking for the 2.3 gingerbread browser - so if anyone can give me the name of the browser I'll try and install it thanks
When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

    Or Firefox.

The default HTC browser has the feature still, I forget the options the AOSP browser has however.

    Still, Chrome FTW.

Tried a few browsers but whilst they all pinch/zoom text, none re-wrap it

Didn't think it would be a big deal but might have to roll back to OS 2.3 if I can't sort it

I have given up on Chrome, since last update its a so slow.

Opera is my 1st choice as it most accurately renders busy pages. It certainly re-wraps for me! - just checked on BBC News site.

There is a settiing in Settings - Text Wrapping on/off. Nauturally needs to be on.

The exception seems to be if your so zoomed the single words wont even fit the screen.

There will be exceptions on some sites where the text isn't text but is really a graphic image with text on, can't reflow a picture.

Mine too ..which is why I said it in the first place.
wraps no problem and the BBC News is a good test for a browser.

Cheers - I did try Opera Mini 1st (on recommendo) with no joy but I didn't see those wrap settings so I'll try Opera Mobile - Thanks

At the mo I'm using the default browser with fixed zoom settings and it wraps text making it easy to read - just wont re-wrap on the fly like the original browser did, which was handy because not all text is same size on web page
