The contracts cant be cancelled unless I pay straight away0 -
You'll need to start getting advice from someone who can ultimately submit a DRO: so CAB, CCCS, Payplan, National Debtline...
It sounds like the termination fees on the phone contracts are still to come, and probably your JSA payments. You really need some sort of stability in your income/expenditure if you are going to consider a DRO.
Any chance of getting back into employment?0 -
I am seeking employment and have filled in the necessary forms regarding my previous employment so hopefully in the next week I should be getting JSA. The contracts couldn't be cancelled unless I have an income so I have to do that then.0

The contracts cant be cancelled unless I pay straight awayThe direct debits will have to just be cancelled. It might ruin your credit, however its better than paying 7/8 contracts a month out of JSA
I hope you can clarify the points I've made, I hope I can help, at least just a little

Thanks for clarifying, I didn't realise you still lived at home. Maybe its worth talking to your mum, see if she will reduce the 'rent' until you are more on your feet.

For your local CAB it might be worth checking out their website, many requrie you to turn up and queue prior to their opening.
Alternatively you can ring one of the free providers and do it all from the comfort of your living room. CCCS is 0800 138 1111, open 8am-8pm and i'm told that number is free from mobiles as well as landlines. National Debtline is 0808 808 4000 and they are open 9am-9pm.0
