Woah woah woah!
Firstly - 7 contracts?! That was a bit silly! Ah well, lesson learned I hope!
You need to do a Statement of Affairs and list the final debt amount.... There is no way we can advise on 7 mobile contracts and a DRO without knowing a bit more0 -
As above - please make sure you list ALL your debts. Are the other 6 contracts terminated now?0

Well im newly unemployed with no income i pay £100 board p/m to my mother and my phone is £31 p/m. the phones aren't cancelled yet. Should I do that before going any further?0

Crumbs, yes - first thing on Monday morning. Get them to cancel them all and bill you for any notice period outstanding. Also ask that the handsets be IMEI blocked as well (to render them inoperative, even with a replacement SIM).0

Thanks then what do I do?0

When you know the final amounts owing on the phone accounts, post a statement of affairs here. The link is to a SOA calculator. You'll need to format for mse and delete any links.
What do you mean - unemployed with no income? Are you not claiming Jobseekers? Link is to claim site (and it takes 5 mins to claim not 40!).0 -
I've put in a jobseekers claim but it hasnt been processed yet, theres been a mix up in the paper work.
Should I get the bill by post instead of through the bank?0 -

I might have the wrong end of the stick here as I'm not sure what you're asking. Do you pay all seven phone contracts by direct debit? If so, you should cancel the six direct debits for the phones you don't use. They will send you a final bill on each account that may be surprisingly large!0 -

Ive already cancelled the dd. And they've already sent a few letters saying there have been no payments, the people who were supposed to pay never set up dd when they should have.
What I meant was should I ask for the final bill in the post.
Oh and the contracts are about a month old.0 -
I'm sorry, but I can smell a fish.
You took out 7 mobile phone contracts, all are about a month old?!
It sounds like to me, that you are trying to get as many phones as you can to then do a DRO and then try and sell the phones and make a quick buck!
If thats not the case, you need to do the following before any of us here can help you.
Cancel the direct debits and contracts with the phone company (direct debits can be done through your bank)
Ask for final bills for amount owed on each contract
Do a Statement of Affairs
Sort your job seekers claim out (or ideally, get a job?)
If I was looking at your paperwork and saw that you had taken 7 contracts out for 'friends', I would be VERY suspicious.0
