Just upgraded from android 2.3 to ICS 4.0

I cant sync my Facebook with my contact list - tried everything included loggin out/in facebook

Worked fine with 2.2

In my search for an answer I actually seen seperate app for syncing facebook contacts, also read that jellybean cant sync facebook contacts, android 4.0 has all the settings for syncing facebook contacts but just doesn't actually work

which all point to v 4.0 bug

Am I missing something or is it just a bug thats never been fixed?

I can live without it (certainly wont be installing any apps for this pi$$-ant problem) but it was working and be nice if it does
When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

Didn't Google fall out with Facebook over something like the privacy policy and the later software doesn't sync ???

Yes Google fell out with Facebook over their contacts policy. Some phones do it anyway eith their own contacts app (HTC is one), but I guess maybe the G300 uses the AOSP people app.

So you have two choices; install Haxsync or decompile the contacts app, edit some XML, recompile, push to the phone, then run an SQL command.
