Miss G, I agree the cushtie looks wonderful, and I saw one in somewhere like the Gadget Shop before Christmas. I nearly nearly bought one, except that I couldn't really justify it. It was addictively squashable and cuddly. However I note the cover isn't washable, only spot cleanable, which is a shame as it's very soft, and you'd definitely need to cover it for use when feeding baby ...

That's where i got mine from the gadget shop. I went into the shop, seen it, felt it, fell in love with it but i couldn't justify the cost. I told the sales person quick take my money before i change my mind, not very money saving i know but it has got to be one of the best things i have bought in a long time. It helps me sleep at night as i use it as a pillow along with my others as i don't sleep very well.
You could always cover it by either a towel or make a pillow case that you can wash but i don't know if it would have the same effect but it may be worth a go

i'll be buying a handheld fan to take in with me (july). last time (july, but 9 years ago) there weren't enough fans on the ward and they said my own would have to be checked by their own electrician, probably take 24 hours! it was only a couple of months old too. luckily they took a fan away from some other poor woman and put it in my room but this time i want to make sure i have one, a little battery one will be better than nothing, hopefully i can still hold the gas and air while squeezing hubby's hand! my nails grew really strong during pregnancy, in the last couple of days i grew huge talons and used them to permanently scar my sisters hand, teehee! scratch mits for you might be an idea :-)

harry potter is out the day before my due date, i hope hubby doesn't start reading it or he'll be a useless birth partner, ideally i'll be a few days late so he'll have finished it in time for labour then it will be my turn to spend 4 days in the bath reading it while he does everything.

i remember being really pleased when an aunt visited and instead of a gift for the baby she gave me a box of choccies, pack some just in case nobody buys them for you!
