Hi all
Just found out I'm going to be spending my first Christmas on my own and I'm gutted
How do others cope with this as I have no idea where to start?
At the moment I think I'm just going to work my shift come home turn off my phone and sleep.

Do that if thats what you want to do, by all means. Or have you considered volunteering at an homeless shelter or soup kitchen for the day?0

You might find you get some invites even from neighbours.
I spent 13 christmases on my own and can't say I never enjoyed Christmas. I would still do all the normal christmas things and have a really nice day to myself (mainly scoffing chocolates!).1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31

Any elderly neighbours on their own who might like to come to you instead? Any single friends who might like to share your day?
