Batiste Dry Shampoo problems!!!

I wasn't criticising or making out that you don't know what you are talking about. As I said, you confused me by saying you were worried about what you read following your hair falling out, but went on to say what you read was about causing slower hair loss which is not what the problem is. Sorry if I read it wrong and that it makes sense to others.
It's nice to see they are looking into it though, perhaps, as mentioned before in the thread, it is something that would only happen to those who are susceptible, since it's not a widespread problem and most users get on fine, and they may begin to put some sort of information about it on the tins. Not a warning as such, but maybe as further information.0 -
A lot of women have been in touch with similar problems since posting this thread so maybe we are not using the product right or using it too often. Who knows..
I did use Batiste quite often, some days every other day, whether this regular use has anything to do with my symptons i don't know. But it is interesting to hear that most women who have been in touch have also said that they noticed thinning where the product has been used (mainly top of head and around the forehead) so maybe Batiste do need to look into whether 'too much use' does impact on this problem. Either way, something isnt quite right.
Just recently though, i have noticed little hairs growing around my forehead which were not there before so hopefully this is a sign that my hair is recovering since stopping using the product. Maybe a coincidence, maybe not!?0 -
I've read that it can take 4 months for your hair to react to changes in diet or stress levels so think back to 4 months ago, did you experience any stress or go on an extreme diet?
This could be why your hair is thinning now.0 -
I'm not a user, but I do suffer from alopecia.
The areas you describe as thinning-around the forehead/top of the head are pretty much where I get hair loss, and it also grows back after a few weeks.
I certainly can't tell anyone else why they're losing hair, but if I'd been using dry shampoo when my hair first fell out, I probably would have blamed it too...import this0
